
The Fife AC 50 Kilometer road race takes place annually
on the second Sunday in May.
The race is held at the Fife Institute of Physical and Recreational Education
in Glenrothes, Fife, Scotland.
The race route is flat and mainly traffic free utilising
pavements and cycle tracks whenever possible.There
is a height difference of three meters between the highest and lowest points
on the course.
The Institute track is the hub of the race with drinks and feeding points providing
water, isotonic drinks, mars bars, bananas and
jelly babies. The lap recorders are also situated at the track.
The race has been the Scottish Athletics Federation Championships since it's inception but welcomes "ultra newbies" as well as seasoned competitors. NEW FOR 2002 SPORTS MASSAGE (for a nominal charge)
